Jewett City – Gary Richard Stringer, Jr., 47, of Jewett City passed away on June 20, 2018 unexpectedly in Bolton, CT as a result of a motor vehicle accident He was born August 21, 1970 a son to Catherine L. (Hagberg) Baker and Gary Richard Stringer, Sr. Gary grew up in Lisbon, CT and graduated from Norwich Technical High School. He was a proud veteran of the US Army and worked for the State of CT within DHMAS. In addition to his parents, Gary is survived by the love of his life his daughter Madalyn Stringer and brother Chad Stringer.

Calling hours will be held 9:00-11:00AM on Thursday June 28, 2018. A burial, with military honors, will follow within the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lisbon, CT. For online condolences please go to www.
