Gary’s Obituary Mr. Gary Thomas Knight age 80 of Thomaston Ga, died Wednesday January 23, 2019 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday January 26, 2019 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Knight was born October 27, 1938 in Thomaston to the late John Thomas and Effie Lou Rogers Knight. He was of the baptist faith, served in the United States Army and was an avid artist. Mr. Knight was a retired truck driver and taught truck driving at Southern Crescent Technical College.

He also worked with the Spaulding County Sheriffs office and Security at Brightmoor Nursing Center. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Allen Knight of Thomaston, son, David Knight and his wife Stacey of Griffin, one grandson, Adam Knight. The family will receive friends Friday January 25, 2019 at Coggins Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
