Obituary for Gary Wayne Tincher Gary W. Tincher, 72, of Fayetteville, WV passed away January 1, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. He was born December 4, 1946 in Oak Hill to Ray R. and Jency Massey Tincher. Gary was a Fayetteville High School graduate, veteran of the U.S. Army who served during the Vietnam era in Korea and worked as a finishing carpenter in the construction field.

He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, enjoyed the outdoors and was a Ford Mustang enthusiast. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by son Jerry Tincher, grandson Logan Tincher and granddaughter Breanna Bumgarner. Those left to cherish his memory include son Gary Tincher and his wife, Brenda of Lerona, daughter Angel Tincher Tyler and husband, Bodie of Beckley, son Roger Tincher of Oak Hill, grandchildren Alec Tincher, Lindsay Tincher, Katie Tincher, Brandon Tincher, Tayler Morton, MacKenzie Tincher, Brittney Underwood and Ashtyn Tyler, 4 great grandchildren, brother Lee R. Tincher of Fayetteville, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Services will be held Friday, January 4th at 1:00 p.m. at High Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Ludwick officiating. Entombment with military graveside honors will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until time of service also in the chapel of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Dr. Beckley, WV 25801.
