Gayle Pauline Fitch October 10, 1942 – December 19, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Gayle Pauline Fitch, 76, of McKeesport, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Jefferson Hospital. She was born October 10, 1942 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Russell Orr and Pauline Elizabeth Rusewicz Earl. She was the wife of the late Orville Fitch.

Gayle worked as a nurse’s aid at Senior Care in McKeesport for many years and was a member of Christy Park United Methodist Church. She was also a past member of the Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors and The Christy Park Senior Citizens. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan.

She is survived by her son, David Fitch of Wilkinsburg, granddaughter, Jessica Fitch of McKeesport, four brothers, Russell (Annette) Earl Jr. of West Mifflin, Ted (Janis) Earl of Lincoln Place, Arthur C. (Marcy) Earl of West Mifflin, and Richard P. (Darlene) Earl of Gulfbreeze, Fl. , sister, Katie (the late Donald) Fulton of Lincoln Place, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert P. Earl.

Friends are welcome Friday, December 21, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Saturday, December 22 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
