Gena’s Obituary Gena Dancer, Blue Eye, MO, was born to Larry and Kyron Dancer on June 23, 1959 in Paris, TX and departed this life on December 27, 2018, at the age of 59. Gena was a restaurateur who had lived in the area since 1994 coming from Van Buren, MO, and she attended James River Assembly of God, Ozark, MO. Gena was a devout woman of faith.

She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. She prayed fervently for her friends and family. Her deepest desire and prayer was to be a good witness for the Lord so that all of her friends would also be encouraged to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

She dearly loved her friends and extended family. She was a devoted Nana to Kortney and Mother to Ashley and Steve. Gena was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Hart and son, Kory Black.

Survivors include: her daughter, Ashley Ramsey and her husband, Steve of Branson, MO; one granddaughter, Kortney Jewell Ramsey; two step-grandchildren, mother, Kyron Wyatt of Durant, OK; father, Larry Dancer and his wife, Faye of Fort Smith, AR; one brother, Mark Dancer of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Tandi Hart of Madill, OK, Julie Foret of Houma, LA and Lana Dancer of Houma, LA and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2018 in Ozark Mountain Community Church, Blue Eye, MO with Dennis Webb officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Van Buren City Cemetery, Van Buren, MO.
