Geneva S’ Obituary Geneva S Palmer, 84, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, March 7, 1935. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM from the funeral home chapel. The burial will follow in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Bro.

Bruce Smith will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401 Mrs. Palmer was a charter member of Main Street Baptist Church.

She was an active member of WMU and her Senior Ladies Sunday School class. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd & Pearl Spangler, her siblings, Ray Spangler, AJ Spangler, Raymond Spangler, Mitchell Spangler, Helen Grace Speed, Shirley Ann Odom, and Janey Pearl Spangler.

Survivors include her children, Linda Ellzy and her husband Jimmy, Susan Frith, Carolyn Mangum and her husband Robert, Bennie Palmer and his wife Brenda, Judy Palmer, her Grandchildren, Chasity McQueen, Alisha Walker, Jason Frith, Justin Mangum, Ali Frye, Jarrad Palmer, Victoria Palmer, Great-grandchildren, Matthew McQueen, Ella McQueen, Jake Walker, Clark Mangum, Wilkin Frye, one brother, Joe Spangler, and 3 sisters, Francis Herrington, Janey Comans, Janey Merle Peek. Pallbearers will be Robert Mangum, Jimmy Ellzy, Justin Mangum, Steve McQueen, Jarrad Palmer, and Dale Simmons. Serving as honorary pallbearer is Timmy Jordan.
