Genola’s Obituary On December 13th, 2018 Mrs. Genola Stanifer was called home at the nursing home in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She was born on Feburay 24, 1937 in Pontotoc County and was the 5th of 8 children to Knowledge Sr, and Luollie Blair Standifer. She accpted Christ an very early age, and was baptized at New Lebanon M.B Church where she remained until God called her home.

She was a very faithful member until her health failed her, she was the sunday school teacher and enjoyed singing in the choir. She attended Green Liberty School up to the 7th grade until her health began to fail. She leaves to cheish her loving memories two sisters, Ethlene Grockett of kankakee, IL and Rosie Scott of Belden, Ms and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Knowlege Sr, and Luollie Blair Standifer, four brothers, A.B Standifer, Burnice Standier, Knowledge Standifer Jr., Ladell Standifer, and one sister; Reda Standifer Kindell. Grayson-Porter’s Mortuary will be in charges of services.
