Genoveva Baez, age 97, of Chicago passed away March 2, 2019. Loving wife of Hipolito; dear mother of the late Angelo; cherished grandmother of Ricky, Angela and Nicole; great-grandmother of Ashley, Brandon, Matthew, and Kassandra; great-great-grandmother of Adrian, and Genevieve; fond sister of Emilia Baez, Ario Baez, Laura Elena Baez, and the late Pablo Baez, Julia Baez, Eulalio Baez, Fortunato Baez, Genaro Baez, and Leoncio Baez. Visitation Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3-9 pm at Matz Funeral Home, 3440 N. Central Avenue, Chicago.

Prayers at the funeral home Friday 8:45 am proceeding to St. Hyacinth Basilica. Mass 10 am. Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
