George A. Mosher July 21, 1939 – January 31, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book Entered Eternal Life on January 31, 2019, at the age of 79. Resident of Milwaukee; former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Beloved husband and best friend for 50 years of the late Julie Mosher.

Loving and devoted father of Karen (Darrin), Holly (Ravi) and Robert. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Daniel, Kelsey, Mariane and Samara. Cherished brother of the late Jean Mosher.

Dear friend of Sandy Stevens and her grandchildren, Josie, Livi, and Abby. Further survived by other relatives and friends. George moved to Milwaukee from the Boston area in 1965.

Joining several business organizations, he became an enthusiastic member of the Milwaukee community. George and Julie founded National Business Furniture together in 1975 and ran a successful business for over 30 years. He became an active angel investor and philanthropist, and enjoyed offering his time and talent to mentoring the next generation of budding entrepreneurs.

George will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on. He passed away peacefully after a struggle with pancreatic cancer. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4th, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, followed by a memorial service celebrating George’s life at 11:00AM, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee.

A reception will follow. Interment at Forest Home Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in George’s name may be made to Froedtert Hospital Foundation, Attn: Office of Development, 9200 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53226, memorial gifts may also be made online at www.
