Although only 43 at the time of his death, George affected many people in his lifetime. At a very early age, George had a larger than life personality, always being the center of attention.

George love karate as young boy. As a teen he was an avid skateboarder. You could always find George skateboarding the streets of Spotswood.

Later in life George spent a short time in the military before deciding that he was meant to be a hair dresser. George had a talent for cutting hair. We suffered many awful cuts as he was honing those skills.

Let’s just say a few of us walked around with some unique bowl cuts before he really learned how to use those scissors. George would never admit he did a bad haircut, according to him it was all in your attitude. Fake it until you make it, he would say.

You could have an awful bowl on your head, and he would stand there telling you how gorgeous you look. He was unique and always had a story to tell. George enjoyed the beach and vacationing at his family’s property in the Poconos.

George was born in Perth Amboy and grew up in Spotswood. He is the first of two beloved children to George and Juanita Baureko of Spotswood NJ. Besides his parents, George leaves behind his beloved son, Angelious and daughter Nala, his brother, Raymond and many other loving family members and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday March 8th from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Helmetta Community Center, Helmetta, NJ.
