Born in Miami Dade Florida, to George the 2nd and Lourdes Sunderland. George lived most of his life in Florida and East Tennessee.
He was saved and baptized multiple times in his life, each one to acknowledge and except the new challenges life threw his way. Cliff the name he went by for most of his life was a hard but compassionate man. He was someone that tried to make everyone happy even if it wasn’t possible.
He enjoyed working with his hands above all else, if it was broken he would fix it even if you didn’t want him to, he just had to try. He really loved old American muscle cars, that led him to work as the Assistant Manager of Advance auto parts in Pigeon Forge TN. He later moved back to Florida to be with his son and met the woman he was to marry working for her at a hotel on the beach managing maintenance.
In his spare time he enjoyed working on his car and others even if he complained you knew he was enjoying himself. Playing on his phone, games like candy crush and Farmville, his favorite thing to do after working in the garage was to sit and relax watching T.V, for some reason he liked low budget films and especially if it was a sci-fi show. Cliff was extremely loving and proud of his son and nieces George C. Sunderland the 4th, Danielle and Kristie Sunderland who was like a daughter to him.
He is also survived by his brother Michael Sunderland. His wife to be and best friend, Deyon Altopp; his two sisters, Melissa Sunderland and Michelle Vega and her children Gio and Mandy. Also Adrienne Evans and her son Paycen.
To the family who was there through thick and thin the Spillings; Kenny like a brother and Henning and Camron like sons. Angela Goh his first love and her family. As well as his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
