George Daniel “Danny Boy” Starkey, 79, of Harrisville, Ohio, passed Saturday February 23, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 2, 1939, a son of the late Robert Frank and Ada Mae Shields Starkey. He was a retired truckdriver and a Methodist.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane McLaughlin Starkey, sons: Robert and William Starkey. Danny is survived by sons: Greg Starkey of Harrisville, George (Roxane) Starkey Jr. of Wintersville, Ohio, daughter Vickie (Rick) Rennicker of Dennison, OH, step sons: Warren Baker, Roy Edward (Cindy) Baker Jr. both of Louisa, VA; step-daughters: Debbie Baker of Cambridge, OH, Diane Roberta Clevenger of Harrisville, daughter in law: Lori Starkey of Colerain, 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at Borkoski Funeral Home, 555 East Market Street, Cadiz, where services will be held Thursday February 28, 2019 at 12 noon with Rev.

James Hoff officiating. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, Ohio. Offer online condolences at www.
