MAJOR, George E., 82, of Centerville rd. , Warwick, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Plymouth, NH, he was a son of the late George L. and Stella M. (Whitehead) Major.

George was an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, serving for 23 years before retiring. He is survived by two children, George Major of New Mexico and Kim Richards of Oregon; six siblings, Harold, Raymond and Robert Major, Barbara McWilliams, Carole Aubin and Elizabeth Negri and two grandchildren, Dustin and Sarah Richards. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 10:15 am in the parking lot of the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.

117), Coventry, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 and then proceed to the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter for his Committal Prayers and Military Honors at 11:00 am.
