OBITUARY George Edward Hood January 31, 1947 – November 1, 2018 Major George Hood, a Hamilton, Ohio native, passed away at his son’s home in Lake Forest, CA. He was 71. He graduated from New Miami High School and received a Master’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.

He was a minister in The Salvation Army for 35 years and served in Ohio, Massachusetts, New York and Virginia. Major Hood was a huge football fan, especially for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Major Hood is survived by his wife Donna, his sons Mark (Alicia), Christopher, along with 5 grandchildren, his brother, William and his sister, Joyce (Dick).

Funeral service will be at The Salvation Army, Tustin Ranch Church, 10200 Pioneer Rd, Tustin, CA 92782 on Saturday, November 10th, at 10:00 am and Committal at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made at www.
