George Emmett Schmidt, age 50, passed away unexpectedly February 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1968 to the late George W. and Jill McGrath Schmidt in Columbus, Ohio. He worked as a truck driver for a number of years.

Survived by daughters, Jessica (Shawn) Stacy, Kelly Schmidt, and Aspen Schmidt; son, Michael Schmidt; sisters, Stephanie (Don) Miller and Ellie (Bob) Brunk; brother, Ronald (Jerilyn) Schmidt; grandchildren, Damian, Kaden, and Bentley; brother in law, Mat Ross; and many nieces, nephews, other family and good friends. Friends may call at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. Groveport, Ohio on Monday, February 11th from 11 a.m. to time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Pastor Robbie Bonar officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
