OBITUARY George F Nordstrom November 15, 1954 – November 15, 2018 George F. Nordstrom, of Union, NJ, formerly of Hillside, passed away on Thursday November 15, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Born and raised in Jersey City, he lived in Hillside, NJ for over 3 years and Union, NJ for over 20 years before moving to Toms River one month ago. George worked as a mail handler for the US Postal Service in Secaucus, NJ for 40 years.

George was predeceased by his wife Elaine Patterson and his parents George F. Nordstrom Sr. and Dolores Henkleman Nordstrom. He is survived by his Aunt Teresa Henkleman; his uncle Vincent Landers; his cousin, James Blomquist, Jr. and his god-daughter Samantha Lavecchia. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 18, 2018 from 2-6 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday November 19, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in George’s memory to the Veteran’s Charity of your own choice.
