George (Ronnie) Ronald Foley, 71, was born on June 27, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was taken too early from his family and friends on March 14, 2019 in a very short time of dealing with pancreatic cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, George Foley, his mother, Frances Foley and brother, Stephen Foley.

He graduated from Park Hill High School in 1965. He was an employee of Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri for 30 years before retiring and then started living life to the fullest with his wife of almost 51 years, Sharon (Mattivi) Foley. If you asked him on any given day what made him the happiest, he would tell you, without hesitation, his family did.

He was a wonderful husband, amazing father and the greatest grandfather and great grandfather, just ask anyone. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, Weslaco, Texas. His sister, Nancy Corbett, Weslaco, Texas.

His children Tiffinnie (Michael) Mangotich, Young, Arizona, Dalas (Jonene) Foley, Kansas City, Missouri and Shane Foley, Cameron, Missouri. Grandchildren, Autumne (Brandon) Carlyle, Shaey Hiley, Kendall Foley, Conor Foley and Kayden Foley and his greatest joys, his great grandchildren Preston, Gabrielle, Izabella, Breanna, Addalynn and Blaise. He was a Master Mason and a Shiner.

His compassion for children led him to driving the Shriners Hospital Van from the Weslaco, Texas area to the Shiners Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. His outgoing personality, his welcoming demeanor and friendly smile will be truly missed by anyone who knew him. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas.
