OBITUARY George G Siegle Sr. December 17, 1911 – January 5, 2019 George G. Siegle, Sr., 107, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at The Pines Hamilton Place at Whiting. George was born in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Girard College and attended Temple University.

He worked for Western Electric Corp. for 43 years, retiring from the Union, NJ facility in 1972. George resided at the Pines at Whiting retirement facility for the past 20 years.

George was very active in the Madison Methodist Church where he served in several capacities including President of the Trustees. He was a Life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America as well as a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge of the Masons in PA. George was predeceased by his wife, Flora, to whom he was married for 72 years, and his son Paul.

He is survived by his son, George, Jr., his daughter, Linda Young, 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 10:30am at The Pines at Whiting, 509 Rt. 530 in Whiting, NJ.
