George Henry Earnshaw III, passed away December 23, 2018, at his home in Erwin. He was the son of the late Modell and George H. Earnshaw Jr. George graduated from Erwin High School where he was on the football and basketball teams and received his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and his master’s degree in music from the University of Michigan. He was the proprietor of Earnshaw Music Company until his retirement.

He is survived by his son, David Earnshaw and wife Stephanie, and three grandchildren, Samuel, Suzanne, and Julia Earnshaw of Pittsboro, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin, NC. Rev.
