George J. Kolesar, Sr., 77, Davidsville, formerly of Hollsopple, died November 30, 2018 at Laurel View Village. Born July 10, 1941, in Johnstown, son of Andrew and Rosella (Jesko) Kolesar. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Carol Ann (Ward); and sister, Shirley Hartland.

Survived by children, George J., Jr. (Sue Kudel); Kevin L. (Sandie Holsopple), both of Hollsopple; Gary L. (Teresa Witzel), Marienville; Lucinda J. (Bruce Gossard), Portage; and Timothy A., Charlotte, NC; grand children, Rose (Benjamin M. Sakmar), John Kolesar, and Kyle and Maxwell Gossard. Brother of Andrew (Carolyn Miller), Mineral Point. He was a member of Ferndale United Methodist Church, and Jerome Sportsmens Club.

George was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp, and also served as a driver for Johnstown Hearse Rental. Friends received from 2 until 6pm Sunday, and from 10 until the hour of service at 11am Monday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. , with Rev.

Frank Young officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ferndale UM Church, or Laurel View Village.
