George John Vangelakos, Sr. passed away Saturday, February 23rd at the age of 89. Born and raised in Hoboken, he lived most of his life in Jersey City. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #560 for over 25 years.

George loved to race motorcycles. He is survived by his loving children; George and his wife Michelle, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, Liz and Niobe. He was the devoted brother of Pepe and Catherine.

George was also survived by his cherished grandchildren; Emily, Jillian, Amber, Kayla, Joseph, and Adrian. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Funeral Home Monday evening from 6pm-8pm. At 7pm during the visiting hours Father David Milliken will offering a prayer service.

Cremation will be private.
