OBITUARY George M. Mauger Jr. February 11, 1925 – January 24, 2019 George M. Mauger, Jr., 93, Widower of Eleanor D. Mauger. Formerly of Gilbertsville. Passed away in the early morning of Thursday January 24, 2019 peacefully in his sleep.

Born in Pottstown he was a son of the late Mable (Hoffman) and George M. Mauger, Sr He was employed by Firestone later Occidental Chemical Corp. for over 35 years.

George served in the US Navy as a Signalman 1st Class from 1943 to 1946 He is survived by his children, Steve husband of Sue (Miller) Mauger of Boyertown, Karen (Mauger) wife of Mike Kulp of Gilbertsville and Christopher husband of Debbie (McCarty) Mauger of Chittagong, Bangladesh. George is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family.
