Obituary for George McKinney Jr George Washington McKinney Jr a resident of Midwest City passed this life on January 8, 2018 in Del City,OK at the age of 88. Born April 5, 1929 in Coalgate, OK to George and Jessie (Logsdon) MCKinney Sr He married Rose (Rosanna) Jeannotte on September 16, 1949 in Libby, Montana.

He worked with the US Government, Chief of Defense, Property Disposal (Junk Yard George). He was a member of Our Lady Of Fatima until its closing and then attended St Roberts Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-George McKinney III, grandchildren- Travis McKinney, Blake McKinney, Kyle Rule, Asa Sellers and Nahman White.

Son in law Tom Rule and daughter in law Linda McKinney. George’s life is the end of a generation, the last of nine brothers and sisters. Survived by his wife Rose McKinney of the home Children: Earl McKinney of Oklahoma City, Amber Sawyer and husband Larry of Choctaw, Patty Rule of Henryetta, Michael McKinney of Midwest City, Cindy Anderson and husband Danny of Shawnee, OK, Danny McKinney and wife Linda of McAlester and Avis Hamilton and husband Glen of Oklahoma City.

Daughter in law: Desma McKinney of Midwest City,OK 22 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren and many Step grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild. Rosary and Visitation will be Held January 12th, from 6:00 -8:00pm at the Barnes-Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 13th at the Barnes-Friedrich Funeral Home Chapel.
