Alcott, Sr., 89, passed away on May 1, 2019 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center in Richlandtown, PA. He was the husband of the late Margaret (nee Shelly) Alcott, who preceded him in death in December 2007. Born June 21, 1929 in Lansdale, PA he was the son of the late William and the late Irene (nee Frankenfield) Alcott.

He is survived by his children, George R. Alcott, Jr. (Eva), of Sarasota, FL and Sue Wiggs (the late Keith), of Lansdale, PA, his siblings, Louise Hanson and Donald Alcott, his four grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
