Mr. George Ray Miller of evergreen formerly of Gadsden passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at the Evergreen Hospital. He was 72. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2019, at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Attalla, AL.

with Dr. Jay Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the Chapel. Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Kearley Miller of Evergreen; son, Christopher Miller of Mobile; brothers, Tony (Brinda) Miller of Albertville, Joel Miller of Albertville; sister, Ann Robinson of Albertville, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Jr. Parker, Terry Thrasher, Harvey Fail, L.D. Couch and the Goodyear Fishing Club. Mr. Miller was formerly of Gadsden, AL. and a current resident of Evergreen for the past nine years.

Mr. Miller was an avid fisherman. Cope Keahey Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
