George’s Obituary George S. Matrunics, Jr., 72, of Bradenville, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born February 11, 1947 in Ligonier, he was a son of the late George S. Matrunics, Sr. and Ethel M. (Sobota) Matrunics. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle Anna (Kerecman) Matrunics.

George is survived by his sisters, nieces, and nephews. There will be no public visitations. Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Suite 203, Greensburg, PA 15601. Arrangements are being handled by the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.
