OBITUARY George Samuel Siegrist August 13, 1918 – January 27, 2019 George Siegrist, of Westerville, passed away January 27th with his loving daughter by his side. George was born in Coshocton, the son of the late Carl S. and Mabel P. Siegrist. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife LaVerne G. Siegrist, and brother Carl R. Siegrist.

He is survived by his daughter Susan A. Siegrist of Westerville and nephew Carl R. Siegrist of Bainbridge Island, WA. George graduated from Coshocton High School and Denison University where he was a proud member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He was a long time Vice President of Jones Metal Products Company and President of Abolite Lighting, Inc., West Lafayette, Ohio.

He held many other organization positions and was a member of the Coshocton Presbyterian Church. An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing many courses over his lifetime. He lived in Newport Beach, CA for 30 years and traveled extensively before returning to Ohio in 2009.

Per his wishes, a cremation will take place and a private interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend thanks to Michelle, Dale and Lucy for their loving care through Mt. Carmel Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice 1144 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215 or the donor’s choice of charity.
