OBITUARY George Stovicek February 1, 1923 – September 19, 2018 George J. Stovicek 95, of Westchester was born in Chicago on February 1, 1923 to the late James and Anna Stovicek, and passed away September 19, 2018. George was the beloved husband of the late Violette (nee Marsik); loving father of Steven Stovicek, Suzanne ( the late Jeffrey) Mladenik, and Scott Stovicek; cherished grandfather of Amy, Steven II, Kelly, Joshua, Daniel, Grace, Hannah, Bethany, Kevin, and Rose; great grandfather of Kaylin, Kendra, Jake, Conrad, Ariana, Canyon, Noah, Easton, and Brooklyne; dear brother of the late Eleanore. George was a longtime resident of Westchester Illinois, as well as a World War II Navy Veteran.

George was also a 45 year employee of Electro-Motive. A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd. Forest Park on Tuesday September 25, 2018 from 3-8pm.
