Obituary of George Belanger George H. Belanger III, age 78, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri. George was born August 18, 1940 in San Diego, California. He was the son of George H. and Louise M. (Stradley) Belanger.

George proudly served in the United States Army. While stationed in Germany, he had the opportunity to shake hands with fellow soldier, Elvis Presley. In June of 1959, while on leave, George met the love of his life, Bonnie J. Dotson, when he went to visit his brother at the roller-skating rink in Pomona, California.

George and Bonnie were united in marriage on November 6, 1961 at First Baptist Church in Chino, California. They were devoted to each other and recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. George worked for Simpson Paper Company in Pomona, California for over 27 years.

He remained a lifelong Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Angels fan. George is survived by his loving wife Bonnie J. Belanger; two children, son George H. Belanger IV of Stoutland, Missouri and Annette, his wife of 11 years, daughter Wendy L. (Belanger) Araiza of Chino, California and Richard her husband of 31 years; five grandchildren, Breanna N. (Araiza) Huffnagle of Mission Viejo, California and Tristan her husband of 6 years, Shani F. (Belanger) Kreycik of Escondido, California and Jonathan, her husband of 4 years; Zackariah M. Araiza of Chino, California; Savannah L. Belanger of Los Angeles, California, and Kennedy L. Belanger of Stoutland, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Teagan G. and Harper R. Huffnagle, both of Mission Viejo, California; one brother in law, two sisters in law, six nephews, and nine nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, George H. Belanger Jr., his mother, Louise M. Belanger, his brothers; Edward B. Belanger, Douglas F. Belanger, and his nephew; Steven Belanger.

Private services will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. A Celebration of George’s life will be held at Newport Beach, California. Friends may contact family for information.
