Georgia’s Obituary Georgia B. Wolfensberger, 94, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, April 29, 2019, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown. Born October 17, 1924 in West Virginia she was the daughter of the late, Howard L. and Naomi R. (Cheshire) Lewis. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar R. Neff an infant son, James Neff, four sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Wolfensberger had worked as a riveter for Fairchild and Rohr Corporation, Hagerstown. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown; A life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Life member of the VFW Post 6319, both of Greencastle, American Legion Auxiliary, Hagerstown and the AARP. She is survived by her husband, Ernest L. Wolfensberger; two daughters, Barbara A. Boward (Donovan) and Janie S. Neff; one sister, Betty Bartlett; three grandchildren, Cherie Harbaugh, David Eichelberger and Michelle Beard and four great grandchildren.

At her request she will be cremated and burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Georgia’s name to Hospice of Washington County (Doey’s House) 747 Northern Ave. , Hagerstown, MD 21742 Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
