Obituary for Gerald Barbee GERALD EUGENE BARBEE, age 78 of Dandridge, TN went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 05, 2018. He was the son of the late Carl and Annie Zirkle Barbee and was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Barbee, Harry Barbee, George Barbee and Willard Barbee; sisters, Wanda Barbee, Dorothy Noonkesser, Lois Koppe and Carol Pangerc and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise Dean Barbee; daughter, Deanna Barbee; son, Stan (Melissa) Barbee; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Isaac Barbee; brothers, Ben Barbee and French Barbee; sisters, Pauline Roach and Barbara LaCoste; several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was owner and operator of Barbee Refrigeration.

He was a honest, hard-working man who was well loved by his family. His grandchildren said “the best papaw a kid could ask for. He had the best stories anyone could tell.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family and friends and his keen sense of humor. Graveside funeral services and military honors will held Friday, December 7, 2018, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating.
