Obituary for Gerald Benjamin Carr Gerald Benjamin Carr, age 76, of Milledgeville, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born in Lamar, Colorado on January 10, 1942 to the late Gerald Carr and the late Marjorie Hollingsworth Carr. Mr. Carr lived most of his life in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

He retired from Law Enforcement, having been a Canon City Police Officer, as well as East Canon City Marhsall. Gerald spent time as a Coal Miner, and most recently had been a Truck Driver. Mr. Carr was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Carr is survived by: his Daughters, Pamela (& Craig) Jackson of Milledgeville, and Karen (& James) Brian of Carlin, NV ; his Sons, Gerald (& Michelle) Carr of Rock Springs, WY, and Andrew Carr of Loveland, CO ; His Brother, Gary Carr of Canon City, CO ; His Sister, Lavada Fay ; His Grandchildren, Amber Tyhurst, Cheyenne Carr, Jaidyn Carr, Jordan Carr, Cruz Carr, Clinton Blake, Christina Schamber, Catlin Wagner, and Kayla Mortensen ; His Great Grandchildren, Tanner Tyhurst, Levi Tyhurst, Madison Schamber, Mason Schamber, Memphis Schamber, Kaydence Mortensen, Bryson Mortensen, and Barrett Mortensen ; his Best Friend, Barabara Hartley ; and a number of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. A Memorial Service for Mr. Gerald Benjamin Carr will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Oliver officiating.
