Gerald D. “Bump” Wilcher, 75, Fountaintown, IN passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. He was born on April 4, 1944 in Acton, IN. He was the owner/operator of Wilcher Variety Bait and Tackle.

He was survived by sons, Jearl “Tim” Wilcher, Annelle (Red), Tommy (Toni) Wilcher, Tracy (Tina) Wilcher, Jeff (Carrie) Wilcher. Sisters, Anna-Lee Hoyt, grandchildren, Aaron, Ashton, Tyler, J.T., Carrigan, Dylan, Jeffrey Jr, Tracy Jean, Jacob, Justin, McKayla, Brett, Gavin, Jessica, great-grandson, Leo. Sister-In-laws, Dottie Wilcher, Donna Wilcher, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Gerald was preceded in death by wife, Janet Wilcher. Parents, Matt G. and Elizabeth Wilcher, brothers, Matt Jr, Lawrence, Cleo, Vernon Wilcher, sister Violet Mattingly. Services will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN 46130 with visitation from 11:00 am until the time of service at the mortuary.
