Obituary of Gerald Lee Dukes, Jr. Gerald Lee Dukes, Jr., of Laurel, DE and Federalsburg, MD passed away unexpectedly, on November 27, 2018, while visiting friends in Arizona. He was 24 years old. He was the son of Gerald Lee, Sr. and Connie L. Smith Dukes and was born on April 26, 1994 in Easton, Maryland.

He worked as a general labor technician, and had his own canine program of training terriers. He loved fishing, bowling, motorcycles and cars. He loved his family, especially his momma, and always loved being in the middle of everything.

He was a “jack of all trades” and could fix just about anything. He was a true dog lover, and trainer. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children: Derek, Aubree, Brylee, and Caedynn Dukes.

Also surviving are his two sisters: Kaitlin Dukes Mears (Shane) of Laurel; Chelsea Dukes Berger, also of Laurel; and two brothers: Greg Dukes and Cory Aviles, both of Federalsburg, MD. Other survivors include his grandfather: Marvin Tunnell, of Federalsburg; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and extended family members and friends. Two special friends are Kurri Hartzell and Kellsie Moore.

A funeral and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Main St. Millsboro, DE. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, beginning at Noon, for viewing and visitation with the family. Interment will follow at Dagsboro Redmen’s Cemetery, in Dagsboro, DE.
