Gerald Louis Schmutzler 79, of Binghamton NY passed away on February 24, 2019 at Wilson Memorial Hospital with his son by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Connie Schmutzler and son Scott Schmutzler of Ithaca NY. Also survived by his brother’s in-law, William (Beverly) Vincent of Towanda PA, Richard Vincent of Apalachin, sister in-law Debbie Vincent of Binghamton and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry retired from SUNY Binghamton in 1995. Jerry was an avid bowler all his life and loved billiards. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
