Gerald Payne May 05, 1939 – May 23, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Gerald Payne, age 80, a Warren County, TN resident and native was born May 5, 1939 and passed away May 23, 2019 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and retired farmer, member of the Church of Christ at Harmony and son of the late Aaron and Anna Pearl Mayfield Payne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ben Arliss Payne and sister, Willie Joetta Payne.

Mr. Payne is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Clayton Carlton and Retha Payne of Rock Island, TN and Daniel Bruce Payne of Walling, TN; daughter, Tammy Geraldine Payne of Walling; and three grandchildren, Layna A. Payne, Katlyn M. Payne and Aaron C. Payne. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2019 in High’s Chapel with Gene Brock to officiate. Interment will follow in Crain Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www. highfuneralhome.com High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
