Obituary for Gerald W. Barrett Gerald W. Barrett, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. He was born November 18, 1936 in Irwin, a son of the late John E. and Anna Mae (Allen) Barrett. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Irwin, a former employee of Elliott Company, Jeannette, and was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Mary Habick, Connie Barrett, Corrine McKenna, and his brother Leith Barrett. Gerald is survived by his wife Janet E. (DeBold) Barrett of Irwin; children John E. (Robin) Barrett, Gerald W. Barrett II, and Jodi A. Barrett all of Irwin; grandchildren Christine, Randee, Katie, and Wesley Barrett; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200, where a blessing service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday.
