OBITUARY Geraldine M Hockridge September 6, 1926 – October 22, 2018 Geraldine Mae Hockridge, 92, of Elk Rapids, passed away in Traverse City on Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born September 6, 1926 in Royal Oak, Michigan to Sears and Dorothy (Sparrow) Baker. She married Richard Hockridge and together raised 4 children in Berkley, Michigan.

The family spent summers together in Elk Rapids. Geraldine is survived by her children Richard (Debbie), Linda (Dan), Lori, and Robert (Rebecca); many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother Norman Baker; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; her brother, Ralph Baker and her sister, Ruth Powell.

A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Covell Funeral Home of Elk Rapids. Burial will take place following the service at Maple Grove Cemetery with a luncheon immediately following the burial. Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Elk Rapids.
