OBITUARY Geraldine May Stephens June 5, 1925 – October 8, 2018 Ms. Geraldine May Stephens passed away at home on October 8, 2018 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Geraldine was a fiercely independent woman. She was the perfect mix of sweet, adventurous, loving and crafty.

She spent many years working in the school system as the lead cook before “retiring” and working for the State Parks. She truly enjoyed staying active as a Pink Lady at the hospitals and never seemed to slow down. She was a collector of sorts- from salt and pepper shakers to churches and Christmas items.

Geraldine loved camping, fishing, and going to the casino; but her truest passion, was for her family. She will be dearly missed by her children, Larry and Sharon Schultz of New Market, Iowa, Linda Kittle of Van Buren, Arkansas, Robert and Cheryl Schultz of Bennett, Colorado, Richard Schultz of Van Buren, Arkansas, Janet and Gary Stutz of Aurora, Colorado and Jerry and Cheryl Schultz of Van Buren, Arkansas; her sister, Jeannette Wobbenhorst of Belden, Nebraska; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Geraldine will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10am at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, followed by a committal service at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery.
