Mrs. Geraldine “Jerry” Price Bryan, 85, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on January 20, 2019. She was a teacher and enjoyed teaching kindergarten. She was a member of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church for 57 years and was very devoted to her church and church family.

She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Many thanks to her special caregivers, Melissa, Dottie and Cindy. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband of 62 years, Robert “Bob” Bryan Jr. of the home; three daughters, Catharine Brown (Rad) of Fayetteville, Lynn Hobgood (Sam) of Hillsborough and Mary Bearse (Pete) of Los Angeles; eight grandchildren, Bucky Brown (Jordan), Bobby Brown (Rachel), Nick Brown, Sammy Hobgood, Emmet Hobgood, Marjorie Bearse, Anna Bearse and Peter Bearse; and one great granddaughter, Lawson Brown.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. (noon) to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in the Gathering Hall at Snyder Memorial Baptist Church with a service to follow at 1:30 pm in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Willowdale Cemetery Goldsboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert E. Bryan Center for Public Service 207 Wilson St. Chapel Hill, NC 27516 or Snyder Memorial Baptist Church Children’s Ministry 701 Westmont Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
