George Jr. was the third of six born to George and Ozella Cain on Sept. 20th, 1953, in Chicago, IL. He spent the majority of his life in Rockford, IL, graduating from Auburn High School.

He was well loved in his community ad dedicated to giving back by volunteering his time, skills, and gifts. George most affectionately known by “G” loved spending time with his family. After his retirement, as a Master Cement Mason, he continued his craft by operating his own business.

George was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his sisters; Sharon Drayton, Rockford, IL, Debra Nelson (Ted), Kansas City, MO, LaDeta Gandy, Scottsdale, AZ, brothers; Gerald Cain, Dallas, TX, and Pastor Robert Cain, Sr. (Ruby), Meridian, MS, adopted sons; Lance, Lamar, Corey, Ryan; adopted granddaughter, Arizona; many nephews, nieces, and a host of extended family and friends. Service will be held 11am Saturday Dec.
