Obituary for Gertrude B. McCue (Styk) Gertrude B. (Styk) McCue, 95, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday December 30, 2018 at her home. She was born November 11, 1923 in North Braddock, a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Styk. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a registered nurse for the former Braddock Hospital.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, in Irwin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond McCue, a daughter Karen Malt and a brother Stanley “Babe” Styk. Surviving are four children Raymond A. McCue, of Boston, MA, Timothy J. McCue and his wife, Laura, of Natrona Heights, Christopher McCue, of North Huntingdon, Kathleen Thornton and her husband, Kevin, of North Huntingdon; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Avenue Irwin. Parting prayers will be held 8:40 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Drive Pittsburgh PA 15205. Gertrude B.
