Age 92 of Castle Shannon, on Saturday July 21, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mooney; loving mother of the late James and David Burgwald; grand mother Tammy (Jan) Underwood, Wendy (Timothy Rogers) Burgwald and David Burgwald; Greatgrandmother of Lynn (Nick) Restivo, Devin, Jordan and Brayden Underwood and Julian Burgwald; Great-greatgrandmother of Adalynn Restivo; sister of Robert Legler, Bernadette Ward the late Florence Gerstner. Gertrude was a devoted member of St. Anne’s Parish for over 30 years.

She liked to stay active by walking frequently and enjoyed sewing and doing puzzles but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. There will be no viewing. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 in St Anne Church.

Interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery to follow.
