Obituary for Gertrude Wade Gertrude Presley Wade, age 81, of Rogersville, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was a daughter of the late Walter and Julie Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Wade, Sr.; son, Garland Wade, Jr.; brother, W.P. Presley, Sr.; and a sister, Goldie Trent.

Survivors include her daughters, Missy Williams and husband Lee, and Cindy Mullins and husband Daniel; grandsons, Dustin Wade and wife Kristen, Cody Lawson, Josh Wade and fiance Brittany, Austin Vaughn, and Mandy Lawson and husband Derrick; great grandchildren, Marleigh and Mason Rose, Ellick “Eli” Vaughn, Taylor, Kyler, and Emmy Lawson, Ethan, Adam, and Gentry Wade; sister, Florence Jones and husband Ralph; special friend, Mary Lawson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Monday, December 3, 2018, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Floyd Ward and Rev. Charlie Gibson officiating.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday in Wallace Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www. christiansells.com.
