Obituary of Gertrude M Johnson Gertrude M. “Trudy” Johnson, of Ashville, returned to her heavenly father Monday April 29, 2019, in Daytona Beach, FL. A Falconer native, she was born February 4, 1936, a daughter of the late Edward and Alphid Carlson Stahlman. She was a graduate of Falconer High School and had worked on and off throughout her adult life in banking and women’s apparel.

She was a very active member of Ashville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and helped with vacation Bible school. Surviving are her husband LeRoy C. Johnson, whom she married September 21, 1957; three children Gregg (Kathy) Johnson of Jamestown, Sonya (James) Orr of Pittsburgh, PA and Burton (Sandra) Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA; ten grandchildren Neal and Nathan Johnson, Natalie (Nick) Patch, Mike, Andrew and Jackie Orr, Eastin and Shae Johnson, Shawn (Melissa) Williamson and Todd Williamson five great grandchildren Taylor and Carly Patch and Kylee, Sydnee and Aubree Williamson and a sister Muriel (Richard) Everson of Texas. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter in law Beth Johnson and a brother Richard Stahlman.

The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in Ashville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Monday in the church just prior to the service.
