Gilbert C. Garza, 73, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on May 7, 2019 in Palestine, Texas. He was born on April 12, 1946 in Kingsville, TX. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felisita Garza and Faustino Garza; and two sisters, Maria Luisa Garza, and Maria Sylvia Garza. Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Garza of Bradenton, Florida, and Lori Ann (Gilbert) Gomez of Kingsville; four sons, Gilbert Garza Jr. of Kingsville, Faustino (Diana) Garza of Kingsville, Robert (Seneca) Garza of Brooksville, Florida, and Orlando Garza of Tallahassee, Florida; six sisters, Maria Elena (Guadalupe) Villarreal of Kingsville, Salome (Apolonio) Rodriguez of Ulysses, Kansas, Diana (Robert) Zavala of Kingsville, Norma Linda Garza (Cipriano) of Kingsville, Alicia Apodaca (Armando) of Ulysses, Kansas, and Maria Elvira (Edward) Flores of Ulysses, Kansas; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held on Mon.

, 05-27-2019 at 6:30 p.m. at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tues. , 05-28-2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church.
