Bova (D’Orio), Gilda O. of Revere formerly of the North End passed away peacefully on November 29th. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Bova Sr. Devoted mother of Lucille Catricala and husband Alfredo of Revere, Joseph J. Bova Jr. and wife Diana of Holbrook and the late Victoria and Anthony Bova. Gilda was predecesed by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 8 great children. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor Gilda’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga Street East Boston 02128 on Wednesday December 5th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and again on Thursday December 6th at 11:00 for a mass in celebration of Gilda’s life at the First Congregational Church 230 Beach Street Revere.

(Please go directly to church) Services will conclude with Gilda being laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the First Congregational Church in support for the homeless and less fortunate.
