Obituary for Gladys Christine “Chris” Bigott (Spevak) Gladys Christine “Chris” Bigott, 83, formerly of Earlville, IL and Downers Grove, IL passed away, Wednesday, November, 28 2018 at the Lorien Taneytown Assisted Living Facility, Taneytown, MD. Chris was born January 2, 1935 in Hinsdale, IL, the daughter of the late Emil and Helen (Novotny) Spevak. Chris and Richard, her late beloved husband, enjoyed camping with family and friends for over 20 years at the Mallard Bend Campground in Sheridan, IL.

She is survived by their five sons: Thomas (Rosa) Bigott of Keymar, MD; Jeffrey (Sue) Bigott of Apple Valley, MN; John (Ann) Bigott of Silver Springs, MD; Timothy Bigott of Earlville, IL; and Daniel (Melissa) Bigott of Earlville, IL; 25 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Liz Danhelka, and several nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Marion Fortelka.
