Gladys L. Reamy, 92, of East Moline, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Private burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Gladys was born on January 9, 1926, in Shelbina County, MO, the daughter of Walter and Blanche (Perrigo) Adams. She married Robert B. Reamy on June 1, 1945. Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church, Moline.

She was also a talented seamstress. Survivors include her son, Larry (Suzanne) Reamy, Hampton; grandsons, Jeff Reamy, Belize, CA, and Larry (Joanne) Reamy, Woodstock, GA; and two great grandsons, Gave and Gaven Reamy. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lu Ann Reamy on December 31, 1963, and siblings, Nadine Raines, Lendell Adams, and Betty Urmie.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at Hope Creek Care Center and Hospice Compassus for the care and compassion provided to Gladys over the years. Memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
