Obituary for Mrs. Gladys Willene Anderson Gladys Willene Anderson, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 21, 1936, daughter of the late John and Ola Stevens Adams. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano, painting and Bible study. She is survived by her husband, William Edward Anderson, one son, Mark Edward & (Virginia) Anderson, one daughter, Anita Ruth Anderson, one sister, Patti Addair, four grandchildren, Dane & (Camilla) Anderson, Simon & (Amanda) Hix, Rachel Hix and Andrew Hix and one great-grandchild, Logan Hix. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jay Adams.

A visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM Friday, September 14, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home 5900 N US27, Science Hill, KY 42553. Gladys will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, 101 58th St S, St. Petersburg, FL 33707. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a contribution to their favorite charity.
